  1. Here are some widgety things and fun or silly items for the toolbelt for you too:
Semantec Up to the minute information on the latest Internet security threats, risks, vulnerabilities widget.
Vast Security News Portal site. Has a section of daily comics too!

Something serious, article links to it from SANS.

Play space invaders, or close facsimile with Adobe flash web invaders ecommerce war game at this sitepoint forums page. On the same page, find good online html css javascript look up reference in one handy place.

Cool German site of helpful tools:
    Long IP Converter
There's a Header Ad script, showing hidden header data, from HTTP server when invoking a Web page. This URL has a more comprehensive version plus some online web development tools like an html xml xslt converter.
A very handy online barcode generator too.

Finally, here's a fun one, it's still a work in progress I think, about funny translation algorithm propagation oddities from using Google translate and then re-translating back to English!

  2. SANS is my homepage on my work PC and since I am opening up pages all the time, I keep pretty much in touch. I used to use SARC a lot back in the day when I was more a sysadmin and cared about the virus of the week (I still do but just...less). And the SNP is on my RSS reader but it isn't as busy as the Cymru RSS feed. Cymru gets at least 100 items a day on their list. I wish google would let me more easily share my RSS list.
